Next week, Craig High School will administer the MasteryPrep test for the first time. MasteryPrep is a practice ACT test that will be given to all of our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students in September, November, and January prior to the ACTUAL ACT / Pre-ACT in the spring. PLTs and individual teachers will have access to the data to see what topics and skills need work, and will plan instruction to incorporate these areas of need.
The English, Science, and Reading tests will be given in English, Science, and Social Studies classes respectively. This will happen on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, September 25-27. Teachers in English and Social Studies have received separate emails and materials in their mailboxes. Science teachers can expect theirs in the next day or so. On Thursday, September 28th, 9th - 11th graders will take the Math test in their Advisory room with their advisor(s) from 9:24 to 10:34. Seniors will report to Advisory for attendance, then their advisor will walk them to the Large Auditorium and sit with them during a presentation that will include topics such as Graduation, TC credit transfer, AP testing, Wisconsin Education Fair registration, Voter Registration, and Start College Now.
