Attention Juniors: The Rock Summer Internship Program is an opportunity for students to take part in a paid internship that provides students with a career pathway experience and position students for future success in both school and the workplace Rock summer internship will last for 6 weeks and students will work up to 30 hours /week beginning on June 10th. The last day of the program is July 29th.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Studer Family Foundation, UW Whitewater at Rock County is offering 10 full ride scholarships to Rock County high school students who will graduate this spring. This opportunity is designed specifically for students who consider affordability the main barrier to going to college. There is no cost to apply, but applicants must be Rock County residents. Deadline to apply is May 2nd.
On the Rock County Campus, Studer Scholars will enjoy the following: 1. One year of free tuition and fees, worth approximately $5,300 2. The ability to apply for partial scholarships in year two 3.
